Having played
carroms the past few days with my sister, I remember fondly the many games we played with our father. Often my elder sister and I would be paired against our father. He would generally let us win, which was so important when we were kids.

The great Tamil comic, Nagesh, passed on earlier this year. He was also known as a great carroms player.
