A Circus Story
Dad used to tell us a great circus story. I am not sure if he witnessed the incident or read about it. One of the acts in this circus involved a man sticking his head inside the open mouth of a tiger. The request was that everyone keep very quiet. This one time, something happened and the tiger was rattled and bit the person's neck, fatally.

I don't seem to remember hearing this story. :)
But I remember going to the circus. I also remember the street entertainers with the dancing bears, and I also remember a snake charmer.... long before animal rights activism.
